Plus, look at it this way, by not writing at all, you're already disappointing yourself so, really, there's nowhere to go but up! Or, uhm, you know, something positive and encouraging and maybe a smidge funny.

You could start slow and ramp up perhaps? Set a goal of a post a week and work up from there?

Take all of this with a grain of salt, however, as I already disclosed no one but me reads my blog and I only post when I feel like it so clearly I'm not the one who should be talking to anyone about how to keep motivated. Where's Mr. Gray when you really need him??

One of the great things about my blog being a personal diary is that I can cover just about any topic I like. The con is that there is no pressure to write anymore. Still, I like knowing that I have that space when I need it. The sporadic, boring writing doesn't do much in the way of gaining traffic but, silly as it sounds, that was never one of my goals.

Getting a clearer idea of your goals will help; if not with the actual writing but with that sense of grave disappointment. That's no fun at all.
